The prosecutor responsible for opening the investigation, Erik Bethoven de Lira Alves, stated in the document that there was a lack of public information about authorization to use the square for the event, a lack of transparency about the destination of the amounts collected and also the lack of information about possible tax collection. Before launching the investigation, the Public Prosecutor's Office reported that it sent a letter to Serraria City Hall requesting clarification on the authorization to hold the event and the regular use of public space. The MP states that there was no response.
