MP for Accounts from Sergipe requests new analysis of the contracting of electric buses in Aracaju

Electric buses in Aracaju Karla Tavares/Secom PMA/File The State Court of Auditors (TCE) reported this Monday (20) that the Public Ministry of Accounts of Sergipe (MPC-SE) presented an appeal requesting a new analysis of the TCE's decision that considered the hiring to be regular and ordered the archiving of the process that analyzed the purchase of 15 electric buses and chargers by the City of Aracaju, worth approximately R$56 million. According to the TCE, the MPC-SE argues that no technical study was presented capable of demonstrating that Aracaju's adherence to the Belém (PA) Price Registration Act was more advantageous than alternatives such as leasing vehicles or holding its own tender. The body also maintains that the process was closed before clarifying decisive points for the safety of the conclusion. ?
