Motorcyclist dies after losing control and hitting a truck on MG-431, in Pará de Minas

Accident occurred at MG-431 in Pará de Minas PMRv/Disclosure A 44-year-old motorcyclist died after hitting a pickup truck on Sunday night (26), at MG-431, in Pará de Minas. The accident happened around 7pm, at km 9 of the highway. According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the man was traveling from Pará de Minas to São José da Varginha when, near a curve, he lost control of the motorcycle. ? Click here to follow the g1 Centro-Oeste de Minas channel on WhatsApp The vehicle entered the wrong lane and hit the side of the truck, driven by a 60-year-old man, who was traveling in the opposite direction. The driver was not injured. After the first collision, a car driven by a 48-year-old man, which was heading towards São José da Varginha to Pará de Minas, was unable to reduce speed and hit the back of a second truck. The driver of the truck left the scene after the accident.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) provided the first assistance to the motorcyclist. He was taken for medical attention, but died in hospital. The driver of the car was also injured and was taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA), with minor injuries. The Civil Police carried out an investigation and is investigating the causes of the accident. The motorcycle was removed to an accredited yard, as there was no responsible person to take custody of the vehicle. The other vehicles involved were released.
