Cigarettes seized from a pastry shop in São Vicente (SP) were presented to the Federal Police Disclosure/São Vicente Municipal Civil Guard An inspection operation seized 6,638 cigarettes of foreign origin, with signs of smuggling, in a pastry shop in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo. Eight irregular casino machines were also found at the site. As reported by g1, the owner was detained, but ended up being released after undergoing a custody hearing. The operation was carried out by teams from the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), the Secretariat of Commerce, Industry and Port Business (Secinp) and the Military Police, on Saturday (25). As announced by the city hall this Monday (27), the pastry shop is located on Rua Jacob Emmerich. ? They also located cigarettes of foreign origin, of different brands and with signs of contraband.

According to the municipal administration, expertise was called in for technical procedures, while the owner of the establishment was taken to the city's 1st Police District. Also according to the municipal body, the seized cigarettes were presented to the Federal Police, in Santos (SP). The fate of the casino machines and the identity of the pastry shop owner were not disclosed. g1 contacted the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
