Between January and June, manufacturers based in Manaus produced 1,063,397 motorcycles. It is the highest volume recorded for the first six months of the year since 2011. Despite the positive performance in the year to date, production fell in June. During the month, 130,875 motorcycles left the assembly lines, a drop of 15.1% compared to June 2025 and 29.9% compared to May this year. According to Abraciclo, the reduction was already expected due to collective holidays scheduled by manufacturers to maintain production lines and improve industrial processes. Sales break record In addition to the increase in production, the sector recorded record sales in the country in the first half of the year. Between January and June, 1,174,344 motorcycles were licensed, an increase of 14.1% compared to the same period last year. It is the highest volume of registrations ever recorded for the first six months of the year. Exports advance Exports from manufacturers located in the Manaus Industrial Complex also grew in the semester. From January to June, 24,084 motorcycles were shipped to other countries, a volume 29.4% higher than that recorded in the same period in 2025. Most produced models Street category motorcycles led production in the first half of the year, with 543,638 units, equivalent to 51.1% of the total manufactured. Next come the Trail models, with 20% of production, and the Motorbikes, with 12.9%. High-displacement motorcycles had the biggest proportional growth in the semester. Production in this category reached 32,285 units, an increase of 37.2% compared to the same period last year. In absolute numbers, low-displacement models continued to dominate production, with 831,213 units manufactured, which represents 78.2% of the total produced in the Manaus Industrial Complex.
