Registration for EJA in the Manaus municipal network began this Saturday (18). Disclosure/Semed Manaus City Hall began, this Saturday (18), the enrollment period for Youth and Adult Education (EJA) in the municipal education network. The modality is aimed at people aged 15 or over who did not have access to education at the appropriate age or who interrupted their studies and wish to resume school life. Enrollment can be done in person at the teaching unit closest to the student's residence or online, on the website matris.am.gov.br. To register, you must present your ID, CPF and proof of residence. EJA is offered in 65 schools in the municipal network, distributed throughout all areas of Manaus. Teaching ranges from the literacy stage to the 9th year of elementary school. ? According to the manager of Youth and Adult Education at the Municipal Department of Education (Semed), Alina Bindá, the modality expands access to education and creates new opportunities for those who wish to complete their studies. "One of the differences of the modality is the organization of the teaching process, which allows the student to complete a training stage every six months. This way, students can advance more quickly in their education, combining studies with their work routine and other activities", he highlighted. According to Semed, the EJA format allows students to advance in school more quickly, favoring the reconciliation of studies with work and other daily activities.
