The program takes place at the administrative headquarters of the Public Defender's Office of the State of Amazonas (DPE-AM), at Avenida André Araújo, 679, in the Aleixo neighborhood. During D-Day, services related to alimony, custody, cohabitation regulations, guardianship, voluntary recognition of paternity and maternity, paternity investigation, among other family demands, will be offered. The initiative is part of a national mobilization coordinated by the National Council of Public Defenders and General Public Defenders (Condege), in partnership with Public Defenders across the country. The objective is to expand the population's access to the recognition of family ties and guarantee rights related to filiation. ? In total, 350 vacancies were made available for the capital of Amazonas. Campaign has already provided hundreds of services. In recent years, the campaign has expanded the Amazonian population's access to parental bond recognition services. In 2024, the Public Defender's Office of the State of Amazonas carried out more than 400 free DNA tests and more than 500 legal services related to the recognition of paternity.
