The case happened on BR-116, at km 01, in the district of Jamapará. The agents were carrying out inspections in collectives when they approached a bus. According to the Military Police, during the approach, one of the passengers exhibited suspicious behavior. When asked about his luggage, the man said he had two backpacks in the luggage compartment. According to the PM, he confessed to transporting a large amount of drugs. He said he would receive R$500 for transporting the drugs, which left Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and would go to Lajinha (MG). The man and the seized material were taken to the Sapucaia police station, which is responsible for the investigations.
