Find out how to report crimes in Paraná A 44-year-old man was arrested this Tuesday (21) in Cruz Machado, in the south of Paraná, suspected of poisoning the water at his ex-partner's house, who is 41 years old, with a pesticide. The information comes from the Military Police (PM). According to the corporation, the woman's daughter-in-law drank the contaminated water and showed symptoms of poisoning. The young woman is 23 years old and had to be taken to the local health unit in an emergency, where she remained under medical observation. ? To the police, the man's ex told that, when turning on the tap, she smelled a strange smell and taste in the water. "When checking the house's water tank, he noticed a white granular substance at the bottom and the odor of herbicide, and also noted that the poison stored in the magazine had been removed/used," says the PM. The woman even saw the man on the property of the house and called the police because she had an urgent protective measure in force against him since March. "The individual claimed to be at the residence to deal with a 'sharing of assets'. Given the flagrant crime of non-compliance with the protective measure and the serious suspicion of drinking water poisoning, the author was arrested and his constitutional rights were read", points out the corporation.
