The look attracted so much attention that internet users began to define Genésio Paiva de Araújo as the "man dressed in gold". The video, recorded on an ordinary day, has already accumulated millions of views. The images were taken and published by beautician Luciane Barroso. According to him, the look came about spontaneously: he bought the pieces, put together the combination and went out to worship. According to Luciane, she usually records moments of the pastor, but had never published the records. This time, he decided to share the scene after the service. "My intention in making the video was not to go viral. It was really a joke, after the service. I always record videos of it, but this time I decided to post it", reveals Luciane.
