The man claimed that he was just trying to help her due to the victim's mobility difficulties and stated that he even found a wheelchair to help her. The case was registered as a crime of sexual harassment by the Women's Defense Police Station (DDM), where the man was arrested and remained in custody at the disposal of the Court.
