1st Maceió Jobs Festival: Event takes place today and tomorrow with more than 2 thousand vacancies The 1st Maceió Jobs Festival started this Friday (7), with around 2.5 thousand job vacancies available. The event continues until this Saturday (8), in the parking lot of Shopping Pátio Maceió, in the upper part of the capital. ?Join the g1 Alagoas channel In total, 40 companies participate in the programming. Participation in the festival is free and does not require advance registration. Interested parties can go directly to the location and talk to representatives from the companies' Human Resources (HR) sectors. Opportunities are distributed across different sectors, such as: commerce; civil construction; hospitality; bars and restaurants; technology; supermarkets; cleaning and maintenance. According to Maceió's Secretary of Industry and Commerce, Júnior Pinheiro, the proposal is to replace, at least during the event, the more distant process of just sending CVs by email or leaving them at the entrance. "It's a jobs festival, with 40 companies participating. Here you will have direct contact with the company's HR, you will have all your doubts answered and you will also be able to choose the company you want to work for, seek a replacement in the market", he stated. It is also recommended to bring proof of residence. Those who do not yet have their CV updated can receive guidance at the event itself. Company representatives will assist candidates with registration forms, digital recruitment platforms and presentation of professional information. In addition to submitting the document, candidates can take advantage of face-to-face contact to ask questions about the vacancies, learn about the companies' requirements and better understand the hiring processes.
