João Rock debuts LED megastage and reinforces structure for 65 thousand people The main new feature in the structure of João Rock 2026, which takes place this Saturday (1st) in Ribeirão Preto (SP), is the debut of the megastage that bears the name of the festival. Considered the biggest of the event, it underwent a redesign and gained a state-of-the-art LED structure, highlighted by the organization as one of this year's major investments. According to the festival's production and operations director, Marcio Pott, the new stage was designed to increase the visual impact and technical quality of the shows. The structure is 120 meters long by 24 meters high. "Our protagonist this year is the João Rock stage. We brought a state-of-the-art full LED stage and a sound system used in the main festivals not only in Brazil, but around the world", he stated. Meanwhile, the Aquarela, Brasil and Fortalecendo a Cena stages welcome names such as Raimundos, Marina Sena, Criolo, Marcelo D2 and Luedji Luna. With the music playing at the same time in all four spaces, the sound of each artist does not interfere with each other. "The stages are uninterrupted, everyone playing at the same time. The equipment means that everything can happen with great quality, bringing a lot of impact and without interfering with the other bands", said Pott. João Rock's zipline now has a 200-meter descent for the more adventurous fans Sergio Oliveira/EPTV A 'city' of 200,000 square meters The organization expects to receive 65,000 people during the 12 hours of programming. To achieve this, the festival occupies an area of ??200 thousand square meters, a structure compared by Pott to a temporary city set up to receive the public. "The public that comes to João Rock comes from all states of the country, from Amazonas to Rio Grande do Sul.
