Jiu-jitsu teacher is filmed attacking teenager in Manaus Jiu-jitsu teacher Ângelo Márcio Bezerra Carioca was dismissed from his position as parliamentary advisor at the Manaus City Council (CMM) after the repercussions of a video showing the attack on a teenager with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The case occurred on Tuesday (29), in Conjunto Ajuricaba, Alvorada neighborhood, Central-West Zone of the capital. Images from a security camera circulated on social media and show the moment in which the teacher attacks the teenager with punches and slaps during an argument in the street. The dismissal was confirmed by councilor Coronel Rosses (PL), in whose office the professor worked. In a statement, the parliamentarian informed that the dismissal occurred immediately after the case was made public. ? After the repercussion of the video, Ângelo Carioca published a recording on social media in which he admits to having attacked the teenager. However, he stated that he acted to defend a dog that, according to him, was being mistreated by the young man. "It was to defend a defenseless animal and it came from my heart. I help people from my heart and that touched my emotions, because the boy wanted to kill the animal and I didn't want that to happen", he said. The case is investigated by the competent authorities, who investigate the circumstances of the attack and possible liability for those involved.
