Rain and storms this Saturday in part of RS The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued warnings for rain with the risk of strong winds, hail and accumulations of up to 60 millimeters per hour or up to 100 millimeters per day for part of Rio Grande do Sul. The two alerts, one orange and one yellow, are valid until 11:59 pm this Saturday (11). The orange alert covers the extreme north of the state and part of the Serra. In these areas, rain with volumes between 30 and 60 mm/h or 50 and 100 mm/day, winds of 60 to 100 km/h and hail may be recorded. There is also a risk of electricity cuts, damage to crops, falling trees and flooding. ? Forecast for the weekend The Climatempo Meteorologia forecast indicates that a cold front, which entered at the end of the week, will continue to influence the weather and maintain many clouds in the state. Instability affects the North, Northwest and Northeast of Rio Grande do Sul. Throughout the day, the tendency is for the clouds to begin to move away. For Sunday (12), Climatempo also indicates the predominance of cloudiness over the eastern half of Rio Grande do Sul. The forecast is for isolated showers of rain between dawn and morning, mainly in the Metropolitan Region, in the Valleys, on the North Coast, in Costa Doce and in the Northeast of the state.
