Monte Santo Prison, in Campina Grande Reproduction/TV Paraíba Two inmates escaped from the Agnello Amorim Jurist Penitentiary, known as Monte Santo Prison, in Campina Grande, Agreste da Paraíba. The information was confirmed by the Paraíba Penitentiary Administration Secretariat (Seap-PB) this Sunday morning (12). According to Seap-PB, the escape took place around midnight on Saturday (11), when the detainees were awaiting a justification hearing. The inmates used bunk bed structures and broke the cell wall, opening a hole through which they managed to escape. ? The deputy director of the penitentiary, Alcides Leite de Andrade Neto, stated that "all applicable administrative and legal measures have already been taken by the management of the penal unit", according to a note from Seap-PB.
