Ilhabela International Sailing Week starts this Friday with regattas, shows and free attractions

Sailing Week in Ilhabela starts this Friday. Ilhabela City Hall/Disclosure The 53rd Ilhabela International Sailing Week begins this Friday (24th) and continues until August 1st, bringing together sailing competitions, cultural attractions, shows, tours and free activities in the city on the North Coast of São Paulo. Considered one of the main events in Ilhabela, the championship will feature more than 120 boats registered for the regattas, promoted by the City Hall and the Ilhabela Yacht Club. ? The sports program will be held over eight days, with different competitions and award ceremonies. Other attractions In addition to the competitions, the Race Village, set up in Praça das Bandeiras, will have daily attractions between July 24th and August 1st. The space will feature stands from environmental and cultural institutions, activities for children, tours, conversation circles and musical performances. Among the confirmed artists are Paula Lima, Chico Chico, Confraria Musical, Special Queen Cover and U2 Cover Brasil. There will also be free trail rides, jeep rides, Hawaiian canoe rides, bird watching and schooners to accompany the regattas. To participate, you must donate a package of powdered milk, destined for the Social Solidarity Fund. Registration must be made in person at the Race Village Tourism stand, up to 48 hours in advance. Another attraction will be the free film screening at Cine Villa Bella & Clube, between July 24th and August 2nd. The program includes animations, dramas, documentaries, adventure, suspense and horror films, with sessions for different age groups.
