Health surveillance notifies three veterinary clinics in Cabo Frio City Hall of Cabo Frio The Sanitary Surveillance of Cabo Frio, in the Lakes Region of Rio, carried out, this Friday (17), an inspection operation in veterinary clinics in the central region of the city. Of the five establishments inspected, three were notified for non-compliance with hygienic and sanitary standards. According to City Hall, among the irregularities found were an expired health license, inadequate storage of health service waste and lack of temperature control in refrigerators used to store immunobiologicals. According to Health Surveillance inspector Vinícius de Souza, the establishments were also inspected regarding the management and disposal of waste generated during veterinary care. ? "We carried out an inspection visit at veterinary establishments to check licensing, sanitary conditions and also regarding the disposal of waste from these services. We checked whether they have a Waste Management Plan and a contract with a company to collect this waste", he explained. Those responsible for the notified clinics will have a period of 30 days to regularize the pending issues identified by the inspection.
