According to Health Surveillance inspector Vinícius de Souza, the establishments were also inspected regarding the management and disposal of waste generated during veterinary care. ? "We carried out an inspection visit at veterinary establishments to check licensing, sanitary conditions and also regarding the disposal of waste from these services. We checked whether they have a Waste Management Plan and a contract with a company to collect this waste", he explained. Those responsible for the notified clinics will have a period of 30 days to regularize the pending issues identified by the inspection.
