The initiative is promoted by the University of Pernambuco (UPE), in partnership with other institutions, and is part of the project "From pregnancy to postpartum". The action brings together monthly follow-up workshops and, this year, it takes place in the park to expand its reach and provide a new experience for participants. The project is in its third year of execution. The topic of breastfeeding was chosen because it is one of the topics that arouses the most interest and generates doubts among mothers. The program will feature a conversation about breastfeeding, space for exchanging experiences and guidance from health professionals. There will also be a dance class aimed at pregnant women and mothers with their babies.

During the event, free services will be offered, such as blood pressure measurement, blood glucose testing and health guidance. The services will be attended by students from UPE's nutrition, nursing and physiotherapy courses. Snacks will also be distributed. The meeting is free and seeks to strengthen the support network for families, in addition to promoting health education actions during the Golden August campaign.
