Gale warning hits all cities in Alagoas, says Inmet

Gale in Alagoas. Inmet The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued two warnings of potential danger for Alagoas this Saturday (1st). The gale warning covers the entire state, while the low humidity warning is valid for 12 municipalities in the Sertão. ?Join the g1 Alagoas channel The gale warning started at midnight and is valid until 11:59 pm. According to Inmet, winds should vary between 40 km/h and 60 km/h, with a low risk of falling tree branches. Guidelines against windstorms During gusts, the advice is not to take shelter under trees, due to the risk of falls and electrical shocks. Drivers should also avoid parking vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs. Low humidity in the Sertão The low humidity warning is valid from 11am to 10pm. Relative air humidity can vary between 20% and 30%, with a low risk of forest fires and health problems.

Inmet recommends drinking plenty of fluids, avoiding physical exhaustion during the driest hours and not exposing yourself to the sun during the hottest periods of the day. The dry weather alert affects the following municipalities: Água Branca Canapi Delmiro Gouveia Inhapi Maravilha Mata Grande Olho d’Água do Casado Ouro Branco Pariconha Piranhas Poço das Trincheiras Senador Rui Palmeira Emergency contacts In risk situations, the population should contact the Civil Defense, by calling 199, or the Fire Department, by calling 193.
