The agenda includes games, workshops, challenges, outdoor experiences and summer camps to entertain students during the break. ? Check out: Parque da Lajinha Summer Camp Parque da Lajinha promotes a summer camp aimed at children aged 6 to 12. Free of charge, the initiative seeks to encourage contact with nature through guided trails, workshops, puppet shows, sensory experiences, conversation circles and practical activities on topics such as biodiversity, recycling, selective collection, correct waste disposal, fauna preservation and health prevention. Actions also include planting seedlings, observing fauna and flora and art workshops. Places are limited, and registrations must be made online. ? Date of activities: between July 7th and 10th Faefid Summer Camp The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports (Faefid) will promote the 12th edition of the Summer Camp, in partnership with the junior company (ACE Jr). The programming is dedicated to children aged 6 to 12. The activities will be related to the World Cup theme. Interested parties can register using the online form. ? Date of activities: between the 27th and 31st of July, from 1pm to 5pm Winter Holiday Camp The Faculty of Letters (Fale) will welcome children aged 6 to 11 for the Winter of Letters, a holiday camp focused on encounters with reading, creative writing, drawings and playful experiences. The event is free and has limited places, aimed primarily at public school students. The program will include workshops, storytelling and other literary activities. Registration is online. ? Date of activities: between the 13th and 17th of July, from 1pm to 5pm in the Children's Reading Room and in the Speech Licensure Laboratory Young Travessia of Limnology The XX Brazilian Congress of Limnology will also have a dedicated activity for children and teenagers aged 7 to 14, who will discover the fascinating world of water. The activities are free and have limited places. Public school students, dependents of congressmen or University employees can register. Interested parties must register using the online form. ? Date of activities: between the 21st and 24th of July, from 8am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 7pm Science Center The Science Center will have attractions such as a planetarium, observatory and laboratories dedicated to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. From July 16th, an interactive exhibition about Aedes Aegypti will also be part of the content of the visits. ? Date of activities: every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7pm to 9pm; on Saturdays, from 2pm to 5pm; and on Sundays, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it is not necessary to register, just arrive during visiting hours. For night visits, tickets are released the day before and can be redeemed free of charge online. Botanical Garden The space will remain open for free visits from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 am to 5 pm, without needing an appointment. Children will be able to stroll along the trails and discover the biodiversity present in the place, while adults will enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place. Among the attractions are the Honey Trail, which houses a meliponary of native bees, lakes with wooden decks and the Juçara Trail.
