The forecast indicates heavy to intense rain, frequent lightning, hail and wind gusts between 70 km/h and 90 km/h, with the possibility of higher speeds in isolated points. Rain volumes can vary between 30 and 100 millimeters, with accumulations of over 150 millimeters in areas of the South, Campanha and West, mainly during the night. According to Climatempo, the scenario is also favorable for organized storms, microexplosions and the isolated possibility of tornadoes, especially between the Campaign and the Midwest of the state. The instability is expected to continue on Sunday (19). The cold front advances slowly and maintains the risk of intense rain and storms in practically all regions of Rio Grande do Sul.
