After leaving the UPA, Josemeire stayed at his mother's house, but refused to go to the police station. According to her family, she was afraid to file a police report because of the threats. The details of the violence were only told by her, little by little, in conversations with her sister-in-law. "She said it started out of nowhere, right? According to the family's report, he approached her on the street and attacked her again, even more severely. On June 14, she was taken to the UPA again, presenting severe bleeding in the back of her skull. On June 15, her clinical condition worsened, she fell into a coma and was unable to recover. The victim died last on July 4th. For the family, exposing the case is an attempt to put pressure on the authorities. "So that we don't leave it in oblivion and it becomes another case.
