The publicist and organizer of the event, Dai Rodrigues, explains that the initiative arose from the need to create opportunities to strengthen local commerce through collaboration between companies. "We understood since last year that the more opportunities to collaborate with brands in our city, the more commercial recurrence we can achieve. We are more than 30 exhibitors of relevant brands. A food court that helps to encourage gastronomic entrepreneurship. We managed to bring together a movement between new and established businesses", he said. In addition to the business fair, the program includes the Ubiz Run, a recreational race created to integrate entrepreneurship, sport and quality of life. The proposal is to encourage networking in a more relaxed environment and reinforce the importance of well-being also in the business world. For Ubiz CEO, Luiz Emanuel Santos, uniting these two areas was a way of encouraging a change in culture among businesspeople. "We know that today sport is of great importance in our lives, in our health and we saw that today the majority of businesspeople are still not focused on this part of the sport. So we made this combination so that we could be doing this sports collab, racing versus Expo Ubiz." According to the organization, the event was planned to encourage the creation of new connections between companies, expand business opportunities and strengthen regional entrepreneurship, bringing together beginner entrepreneurs and already established companies in the same space to exchange experiences. Expo Ubiz + Ubiz Run is free and takes place this Sunday (5), at Uenf, in Campos dos Goytacazes. The program starts at 7am, with the recreational race. The business fair will be held from 9am to 5pm, in the university's foyer, bringing together more than 30 exhibitors, as well as lectures, networking spaces, a food court and activities focused on entrepreneurship and innovation.
