For a long time, agribusiness was associated with the strength of the countryside and hard work. Today, this scenario has gained new protagonists: technology, innovation, management and market intelligence. Tools that help small producers produce better, add value and conquer new markets. At the 2026 Entrepreneur Fair, this transformation can be experienced in Vila do Agro, an environment that brings together practical experiences, experts and solutions to show how knowledge drives entrepreneurs in the rural sector. Vila do Agro was planned jointly by Sebrae and the Faema/Senar System as an interactive environment where rural producers, entrepreneurs, students, technicians and investors can learn, in practice, how different productive activities can be transformed into sustainable and profitable businesses. In a journey of knowledge, the space will bring together technological showcases, consultancies, lectures, demonstrations and opportunities to connect with experts. The great difference of Vila do Agro is precisely to show that entrepreneurship in the field goes far beyond production. Visitors will find applied knowledge, innovation and solutions that can be incorporated into the reality of small rural businesses, strengthening their ability to compete and grow. The space's proposal speaks directly to Sebrae's mission of stimulating entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, quality and competitiveness for small businesses. "Vila do Agro translates, in practice, Sebrae's work by connecting knowledge, innovation and opportunities so that small rural businesses grow in a sustainable way, strengthening the development of agribusiness in Maranhão", says the Agribusiness coordinator at Sebrae Maranhão, Maurício Lima. Immersive journey highlights the potential of rural businesses During the three days of the Fair, from August 14th to 16th, visitors will be able to visit five technological showcases dedicated to strategic production chains for Maranhão: beekeeping and meliponiculture, dairy cattle farming, sheep farming, fish farming and horticulture. In each environment, experts will present technologies, best practices, equipment, management models and alternatives to add value to production, demonstrating how different activities can evolve into sustainable businesses.
