Emergency maintenance temporarily interrupted the water supply in neighborhoods and complexes in Belém this Friday (7). According to Águas do Pará, the neighborhoods of Marco, Curió-Utinga, Souza, part of Canudos and the Império Amazônico and Amapá complexes are affected. According to the concessionaire, the interruption was necessary to carry out work on the pump and filters of the system responsible for supplying these areas. The maintenance is expected to be completed by the end of this Friday. After completion of the work, the system will be turned back on and the water supply should gradually return, as the network recovers pressure levels.
