32nd Fenasucro and Agrocana Event Credit: Disclosure The 32nd edition of Fenasucro & Agrocana will expand actions to measure, mitigate and compensate environmental impacts in partnership with the Association of Sugarcane Planters of the West of the State of São Paulo (Canaoeste) and Copercana BioCoop. Held from August 11th to 14th, at the Zanini Events Center, in Sertãozinho (SP), the fair will adopt measures that include tracking greenhouse gas emissions generated during the assembly and disassembly of stands and a waste management system at all stages of the event. Emissions control Monitoring is part of the Canaoeste Green program. The methodology follows the guidelines of the GHG Protocol, an international reference for accounting and disclosing greenhouse gas emissions. Compensation occurs in areas of native vegetation preserved by Canaoeste associates who have sugar cane production certified by the Bonsucro international standard. According to the entity, the model contributes to mitigating climate change and recognizing producers based on measurable environmental results. Waste management The partnership with Copercana BioCoop provides selective collection points, specific signage and an area for sorting and appropriate disposal of materials. The structure will operate from assembly to disassembly of the fair, with the aim of expanding reuse and reducing the environmental impact of an event that brings together thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors. "Sustainability is already part of the essence of the fair as we represent a sector that directly contributes to the energy transition. We are moving forward so that this commitment is increasingly tangible and verifiable", says Paulo Montabone, director of Fenasucro & Agrocana. The initiatives are aligned with the goal of RX, organizer of Fenasucro & Agrocana, of zeroing its carbon emissions by 2040. According to the company, the adoption of these practices at large events depends on the involvement of suppliers, exhibitors, teams and visitors. Facilities for visitors In addition to the technical programming and business generation, Fenasucro & Agrocana expands the facilities for those visiting the fair. For the first time, official parking can be purchased in advance, reducing access queues, speeding up entry to the event and allowing visitors and exhibitors to plan their visit more conveniently. FenaBio accreditation and sales Accreditation for the 32nd Fenasucro & Agrocana, free and intended for visitors, advisors and the press, is open and can be done through the event's official website. Tickets for the 2nd edition of FenaBio are also available, which can be purchased at this link.
