Embraer delivers 65 aircraft in the 2nd quarter and breaks a record in 16 years. Embraer also expanded the range of the jet, which now flies up to 3,806 kilometers non-stop, in addition to increasing the payload capacity. The model also received lithium-ion batteries, LED lighting and improvements to the cabin. Also according to Embraer, among the changes aimed at passengers are a new vacuum washbasin, a redesigned service area, an air ionization system and an internet option via low-orbit satellites installed at the factory. The company also reported that connectivity via Starlink may be added later through a certified modification. According to Embraer, the acronym EV means "Evolution" and represents the new stage of development of the model, focusing on technologies that increase safety, simplify operation and improve the flight experience.
