In addition to the arrest for drunk driving and bodily injury in traffic, the operation resulted in the execution of a preventive arrest warrant for domestic violence and a civil arrest warrant for child support debt. The motorcyclist was traveling at high speed and under the influence of alcohol when he crashed into another vehicle occupied by a man and his 3-year-old son. The father was also injured. According to investigations, the motorcyclist still tried to escape. After being unable to start the vehicle due to a mechanical failure, he abandoned the motorcycle and escaped on foot without providing assistance to the victims. He was later located by the Military Police in a commercial establishment in the city and taken to the police station, where a forensic examination confirmed that he had consumed alcohol. The suspect was charged with drunk driving and causing bodily harm in traffic. During the operation, Civil Police teams served a preventive arrest warrant against a man being investigated for domestic violence. According to the police, the measure was enacted after the suspect repeatedly failed to comply with protective measures provided for in the Maria da Penha Law. Investigations indicate that he broke into his ex-partner's house on two occasions and even approached her 6-year-old son to obtain information about his mother. A civil arrest warrant was also served against a man for failure to pay child support. According to the Civil Police, he was located during the festival's security actions and taken to the police station without offering any resistance.
