DMTT blocks roads in the capital for the 1st Maceió International Marathon; check changes

DMTT advises drivers to use alternative routes during closures. On Saturday, the recommendation is to follow Avenida da Paz until Lojas Americanas and Praça Sinimbu. On Sunday, the detour will be made at the Braskem roundabout. Drivers arriving in the capital via the South Coast must use the roundabout to access Avenida Senador Rui Palmeira or follow Avenida Siqueira Campos. Interdictions DMTT implements blockades and closures for the 1st Maceió International Marathon Idalécio Lucas/ DMTT Archive Saturday (1st/08) - 5 km, 10 km and 21 km Clube Fênix Alagoana races, with a diversion of the flow to Praça Sinimbu; Rua Uruguai and Rua Silvério Jorge, with a detour to the Madireira Novo Brasil region; Departure from the Port of Maceió, with blockage of the outflow; Rua Jangadeiros Alagoanos with Rua Júlio Plech Filho and Rua Engenheiro Demócrito Sarmento Barroca, with access blocked towards the waterfront; Avenida Engenheiro Mário de Gusmão and Rua Francisco Laranjeiras, where traffic will be diverted to Rua Francisco Laranjeiras, which will have the direction temporarily reversed. Access to the condominiums at Praça Gogó da Ema will be exclusively via this route; Avenida Professor Sandoval Arroxelas with Rua Dr. Pompeu Sarmento and Rua Deputado José Lages with Rua Dr. Noel Nutels, with access permitted only for residents; Avenida Dr. Antônio Gomes de Barros with Rua Comerciante José Pontes de Magalhães, with flow diversion; Avenida Álvaro Calheiros and Rua Miguel Alcides de Castro, allowing only residents access to Alameda Álvaro Calheiros; Avenida Álvaro Calheiros and Rua José Luiz Calazans, where the entire flow will be diverted. Rua José Luiz Calazans will have the opposite direction until Avenida João Davino. Sunday (02/08) - marathon 42.195 km Ponte Divaldo Suruagy, with the flow coming from Marechal Deodoro directed to the lane close to the central reservation; Braskem roundabout, with a diversion of the flow coming from Pontal to Avenida Senador Rui Palmeira; Rua Dias Cabral and Rua Dona Rosa da Fonseca, diverting vehicles from Santa Casa to streets Dona Rosa da Fonseca and Zacarias de Azevedo; Rua Barão de Anadia and Rua Zacarias de Azevedo, with a detour to Praça Sinimbu. The changes planned for the seafront also remain, including blocking access to Avenida Doutor Antônio Gouveia, detours on Avenida Engenheiro Mário de Gusmão and Avenida Álvaro Calheiros, in addition to access control for residents on Ponta Verde roads.
