The São Fidélis Health Surveillance reported that, as a precaution, family members of the victims were treated and underwent tests, which will also be sent for analysis. The agency also stated that it will provide medication to people who were at the site in recent days. Furthermore, until the reports are completed, access to the area related to the cases, located on the banks of the river, must remain restricted, according to a formal notification sent to the family.
