Promoted by the State Government, through the State Finance Department (Sefaz-RN), the program covers debts incurred until December 31, 2025. The biggest discount is intended for taxpayers who choose to pay in cash, in a single installment, with a 99% reduction in interest and fines. It is also possible to pay the debt in up to six installments, with a 90% discount on these charges. According to Sefaz, regularization allows companies and taxpayers to stay up to date with the State Tax Authority, obtain negative certificates and be able to participate in tenders, contract credit operations and carry out other activities that require regular tax status. To join the program, the taxpayer must fully recognize the debts included in the negotiation, waive any administrative appeals or legal actions related to tax credits and make payment in accordance with the rules established by the secretariat. Adhesion is made exclusively through the Virtual Taxation Unit (UVT), under the banner "Refis 2026".
