The corporation reported that the probable cause of the accident was the driver's lack of attention. Full note "The Via JF Consortium informs that, on Wednesday night (07/08), an incident was recorded involving a bus on line 741, on BR-267, close to a fish and pay shop. According to preliminary information, a cyclist suddenly entered the vehicle's path, in a section with low lighting, causing the accident. The driver immediately contacted the Mobile Emergency Assistance Service (SAMU) and the Federal Highway Police (PRF), remaining at the scene throughout the incident. The victim was rescued by SAMU and taken to the Emergency Hospital (HPS) for medical care. The driver underwent a breathalyzer test, which did not indicate any irregularity, provided all the information to the authorities and was released after recording the incident.
