Cyclist dies after being hit by car on SP-101 in Hortolândia ARTESP A cyclist died after being hit by a car this Tuesday morning (14) on Rodovia Jornalista Francisco Aguirre Proença (SP-101), at km 13, in Hortolândia (SP). According to Artesp, the victim was traveling in the opposite direction of the highway when he was hit and his bicycle was thrown by the vehicle that was accessing the location via the acceleration lane. Rescue teams were called and found the victim dead at the scene. The driver of the car was not injured. The shoulder of the westbound lane remained closed to deal with the incident, and there was no record of congestion.
