The truck driver was also reported for allegedly changing the location of the accident, leaving the point of occurrence to avoid criminal or civil liability and committing procedural fraud. Accident killed two brothers The accident occurred on the morning of October 22, 2025, at km 483 of BR-116, near Dom Cavati. In the complaint, the Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the truck driver was driving with an expired National Driving License and assumed the risk of causing deaths by driving in these conditions and going the wrong way. Driver's license suspended In the same decision, the Court ordered the suspension of the truck driver's driver's license. He was also prohibited from obtaining permission or license to drive motor vehicles. The precautionary measure had been requested by the Public Ministry. According to the body, the Court considered that maintaining the right to drive would represent a concrete risk to public order given the seriousness of the accusations. The case is being processed in the 2nd Civil, Criminal and Children and Youth Court of the District of Inhapim.
