Coopercitrus Expo 2026 officially opened its 27th edition on Monday (27/07), at Fundação Coopercitrus Credicitrus Coperfam, in Bebedouro (SP). The ceremony also marked the 50th anniversary of Coopercitrus, a cooperative founded on May 14, 1976 and which today has more than 40 thousand members. The fair continued until July 31st, from 8 am to 6 pm. The ceremony brought together rural producers, representatives of exhibiting companies, cooperative leaders and municipal, state and federal authorities. The president of the Board of Directors of Coopercitrus, Matheus Marino, highlighted the fair's role in disseminating technology among producers. "The function of a cooperative is to help the farmer, its member, on a daily basis. A fair like this is a time to disseminate technology. Here, farmers can talk to other farmers, suppliers, manufacturers and the Coopercitrus team", he stated. Fair expanded access to technology The CEO of Coopercitrus, Fernando Degobbi, highlighted that the Expo's structure was prepared to facilitate access for producers of different sizes to the solutions presented by the companies. "The word that represents this edition is opportunity. Even in a challenging scenario, Coopercitrus Expo brings together technology, technical guidance, credit and commercial conditions so that the producer can plan the harvest with more security. It is the time to learn about solutions, anticipate decisions and transform planning into results", stated Degobbi. More than 80% of producers associated with Coopercitrus are small and medium-sized. To facilitate the participation of this public, the cooperative organized more than 80 buses and vans with families from different regions. Cooperativism and new generations Family succession and the formation of new generations in agriculture were also highlighted during the ceremony. Marino presented the Liga Coopercitrus Jovem, an initiative created to bring young people closer to the cooperative's activities, property management and professional opportunities linked to the countryside. On Tuesday, July 28th, at 10 am, the fair hosted the meeting “A Voz do Jovem”, with Jorge Nishimura, shareholder of Grupo Jacto and reference in family succession. The program was held in the Coopercitrus Expo auditorium. Coopercitrus Expo 2026: 50th anniversary edition, technology, business and new generations Credit: Coopercitrus Archives. We want to bring young people closer to the cooperative, technology, management and decisions that involve the continuity of properties", highlighted Marino.
