"Our commitment is to restore energy supply in the shortest possible time for affected customers. However, all operations on the electricity grid follow strict technical protocols, which guarantee the safety of professionals, the community and the electrical system itself", he states. There are cases in which a single collision knocks down more than one pole, breaks cables and compromises larger sections of the distribution network, according to the manager. "From the Integrated Operation Center, we carry out automatic procedures to reduce the impacts of the interruption and restore power to as many customers as possible", he points out.
