DPRN seizes 1.2 kg of cocaine and 51 kg of marijuana in a property in Petrolina Disclosure/ 12th DPRN Police officers from the 12th Drug Trafficking Police Station (DPRN) seized approximately 1.2 kg of cocaine and 51 kg of marijuana on Thursday (30). The drugs were located in a property in Petrolina, in the Sertão of Pernambuco. The action is part of Operation Brazil Against Organized Crime – Foreign Exchange. The investigation aimed at combating trafficking began around 45 days ago, after another significant seizure recorded in the city. Since then, teams from the 12th DPRN began monitoring the movements of a suspect. Monitoring the logistics of transporting narcotics allowed agents to confirm the delivery of this new cargo. The seized material was collected and will undergo expert examinations. Investigations continue with the aim of identifying the other members of the criminal organization, in addition to clarifying the origin, route and recipients of the drugs. The operation is an action integrated into the Protector Program, linked to the National Public Security Information System (Sinesp) and the Ministry of Justice and Public Security. In Petrolina, the work was coordinated by delegates Lucas Vieira Torres and Joseilton Sampaio da Silva.
