The third edition of the Rota da Fé – Bullock Cart Parade promises to bring together culture, religiosity and memories of the countryside in a meeting between generations. According to the organization, the initiative seeks to value the rural area and show the importance of this means of transport for agricultural production and economic development in the region. In this edition, the ox carts will be decorated to represent the seven days of the creation of the world, according to the book of Genesis, in the Bible. Each one will symbolize a stage in the biblical narrative and bring together elements of Christian faith and popular culture, in a celebration of history and devotion. The organization's expectation is that the event will attract thousands of tourists from different cities in the Zona da Mata and generate activity in sectors such as hotels, bars, restaurants and local commerce.
