The survey cited by the former governor refers to Brazilian companies that started operating in Paraguay since 2007, after the creation of the Maquila Law, and not just the period starting in 2023. According to the Chamber of Brazilian Businessmen in Paraguay, the number brings together projects approved throughout different governments. During the radio interview, the pre-candidate also defended the need for reforms in the country, such as administrative reform, and stated that his eventual administration would have ministers with a technical profile and a focus on results. The politician also commented on the relationship between the Powers, public security and the fight against organized crime. In the interview, Caiado stated that Brazil needs to solve its own problems and, when citing measures adopted by the United States government, he said that "Trump will not solve the problems that are ours."
