Michelle Dias, creator of the Mamas com Amor project, participated in the second edition of Dona Della, a Bracell initiative aimed at strengthening businesses led by women Bracell Collection In the year in which Bauru turns 130 years old, the trajectory of beautician Michelle Dias, a specialist in paramedical dermopigmentation, helps to translate the city's entrepreneurial strength. Representative of Mamas com Amor, an initiative that offers specialized care to assist in the visual reconstruction of the areola of women undergoing mastectomy, she transformed technical knowledge into a business recognized throughout the Center-West of São Paulo. Part of this transformation, according to Michelle, occurred after her participation in Dona Della, a Bracell project carried out through Bracell Social that is aimed at strengthening businesses led by women. With training, mentoring and connections with the market, the initiative helped her to better structure her venture and begin to recognize her own professional potential. The entrepreneur's story represents one of Bracell's social action fronts in Bauru. Although its industrial operation is located in Lençóis Paulista, the company maintains the municipality among the territories of its social, environmental and professional development initiatives. Knowledge that turned into confidence Michelle participated in the second edition of Dona Della and was one of the entrepreneurs selected to receive seed capital aimed at strengthening the business. "Dona Della was very enriching, both for my professional and personal life. It added a lot, especially in terms of self-knowledge, positioning and expansion of my business", he says. After training, she began to invest more strategically in promoting her services and in relationships with potential clients. "I learned to position myself better, invest in publicity and strengthen my digital presence. This caused the demand for my work to increase by more than 50% in the region and my revenue increased by more than 30%", he says. Dermopigmentation can be applied in aesthetic procedures, such as eyebrow design, and also in paramedical areolar reconstruction techniques Bracell Collection For Michelle, however, the main result is not just in the financial indicators. Daughter of a simple family and single mother of three children, she says that for a long time she had difficulty recognizing her own potential. "Everyone saw me as a great professional, except me. Dona Della gave me confidence. I started to look at myself in a more professional way and believe in my abilities", she reports. Paramedical dermopigmentation is a technique used, among other purposes, to assist in the visual reconstruction of the areola after procedures such as mastectomy. With this work, Michelle began to receive patients from different cities and became a regional reference in the area. In 2026, Bauru returned to Dona Della, which reached its third edition with 183 entrepreneurs selected from more than 400 registrants from eight municipalities. The journey brings together training, mentoring, business rounds to connect with the market and a Pitch Day – the final stage of evaluation in which the selected entrepreneurs present their businesses to a panel of judges and compete for seed capital in cash to boost their companies. More than 300 women in the region have already been positively impacted by the project, considering the 2024 and 2025 editions. Action that generates opportunities Michelle's trajectory is part of a broader set of initiatives developed by Bracell in Bauru, aligned with Bracell Social's pillars of Education, Empowerment and Being Well. In the Empowerment pillar, in addition to Dona Della, the company promoted a Business Meeting in Bauru that connected 33 entrepreneurs with representatives from nine companies and public institutions, expanding the possibilities of relationships with potential clients and partners. Bracell also strengthens the third sector through the Bracell Social Notice, which has already supported initiatives such as Bauru de Memórias. Through the Conexão Project, the company also offers training in management, governance, communication and resource mobilization for professionals in social organizations. In Education, Bauru participates in the Continuing Education Program, with actions aimed at strengthening school management, literacy and learning. City residents were also offered free professional training in the areas of machine operation, transport and maintenance, expanding their possibilities of entering the job market. The activities extend to the generation of employment and income, sustainable development and environmental conservation. In partnership with the Bauru Botanical Garden, Bracell supported the implementation of an ecological corridor with more than 8 thousand native trees. The company also participates in the Batalha River Restoration Technical Chamber and supports studies that should guide environmental recovery actions and protection of water resources in the region. "Celebrating 130 years of Bauru is recognizing the value of its people, who, in the heart of São Paulo, make this a city with no limits for entrepreneurship, innovation and transforming realities. Bracell maintains a long-term commitment to the city and its surroundings, seeking to value people and build sustainable businesses that cross generations. We want to contribute to expanding opportunities, strengthening local organizations and leaving a lasting legacy for the entire community", says Manoel Browne, director of Institutional Relations, Government and with Bracell Communities.
