The conference will be held during the 32nd Fenasucro & Agrocana and will have debates on biogas, ethanol, bioelectricity, mobility, geopolitics and new markets. Biogas will have two panels on the schedule. The first will discuss the conditions for expanding production, consumption and projects in the sector, with Newton Duarte, from Cogen, and Rafael Gonzalez, from Necta. The second will address the role of this source in the energy transition, with representatives from the Brazilian Association for Waste Energy Recovery (ABREN), Ultragaz and Bazico Tecnologia. New fuels Sustainable aviation fuel, known by the acronym SAF, will be the subject of a panel with José Magalhães Fernandes, president and CEO of Honeywell Technologies for Latin America, and Gilberto Peralta, president of Airbus Brazil. The discussion will include available technologies, the organization of the production chain and the conditions necessary to expand Brazil's participation in this market. Renato Cunha, executive president of NovaBio, and Henrique Araujo, director of institutional relations at Copersucar, will analyze issues such as security of supply, innovation and opportunities related to biobunkers. Mobility and investments The program will also feature a debate on flex hybrid and electric vehicles and the future of mobility, with João Irineu Medeiros, vice president of regulatory affairs at Stellantis, and Alexandre Baldy, vice president of BYD do Brasil. The proposal is to discuss how electrification and biofuels can coexist in reducing transport emissions.
