Arraiá da Cidadania takes place from July 23 to 26 in Volta Redonda Cris Oliveira – Secom/PMVR The City of Volta Redonda (RJ) officially launched, this week, the 11th edition of Arraiá da Cidadania, during a meeting with representatives of participating entities. The event will be held between the 23rd and 26th of July, at Praça Brasil, in the Vila Santa Cecília neighborhood, with free entry and food and drinks sold for R$1.99. Considered a reference in social inclusion, Arraiá da Cidadania will be held the week following the celebrations for the 72nd anniversary of Volta Redonda. On the 23rd and 24th of July, the program takes place from 5pm to 11pm. On the 25th and 26th, the event will be from 3pm to 11pm. As in previous editions, the participating institutions will be responsible for the stalls, where typical food and drinks will be sold for R$ 1.99, in addition to the traditional fried pizza. The income obtained from sales will be donated to the municipality’s philanthropic entities.
