32nd Fenasucro and Agrocana Event Credit: Disclosure Bioenergy increases its participation in the Brazilian economy and energy matrix, driven by the production of ethanol, bioelectricity, biogas, biomethane and new biofuels. In the 2025/2026 harvest, Brazil produced around 36 billion liters of ethanol, according to the Sugarcane and Bioenergy Industry Union (UNICA). The sector should gain new momentum with the increase in the mixture of anhydrous ethanol in gasoline to 32%, valid since August 1st. The measure could increase demand for biofuel by 1 billion liters per year and reduce the need to import gasoline by around 450 million liters per month. Scale and business In this scenario, the 32nd Fenasucro & Agrocana will be held from August 11th to 14th, at the Zanini Events Center, in Sertãozinho (SP). The edition is expected to generate R$13 billion in business and bring together visitors from more than 80 countries. The fair will have more than 600 exhibiting brands, around 3,000 national and international products and an area of ??100,000 m². Representatives from all Brazilian biorefineries are also expected, as well as professionals from the agricultural, industrial, bioenergy, transport and logistics segments. "This is a sector that already delivers concrete results in energy, economy and decarbonization. Fenasucro & Agrocana creates the environment for this capacity to advance through new technologies, partnerships and investments, connecting those who develop solutions with those who need to apply them in the field and in industry", says Paulo Montabone, director of the fair. According to Montabone, productive efficiency will be at the center of discussions in 2026 in the face of global competitiveness challenges. The program will also address decarbonization, energy transition, innovation and new routes for biofuels. Content and connections In total, there will be more than 100 hours of technical and strategic content, distributed among congresses, conferences, panels and sectoral meetings. The highlight will be the 2nd edition of FenaBio, a conference integrated into the fair and focused on new bioenergy routes and emerging energy alternatives. Another novelty will be the holding, parallel to the event, of the 13th ATALAC Latin American Congress — “José Paulo Stupiello”. Hosted for the first time in Brazil, the meeting will bring together professionals, researchers and institutions from Latin America and the Caribbean, from August 10th to 14th, in Ribeirão Preto and the region. In 2026, Fenasucro & Agrocaca will have as honorary president Hugo Cagno Filho, president of the National Bioenergy Union (UDOP). The recognition highlights its role in strengthening the bioenergy chain and improving the sector's qualifications. Facilities for visitors In addition to the technical programming and business generation, Fenasucro & Agrocana expands the facilities for those visiting the fair. For the first time, official parking can be purchased in advance, reducing access queues, speeding up entry to the event and allowing visitors and exhibitors to plan their visit more conveniently. FenaBio accreditation and sales Accreditation for the 32nd Fenasucro & Agrocana, free and intended for visitors, advisors and the press, is open and can be done through the event's official website.
