Padre Manuel Municipal School informed those responsible for the students that the victim was a morning student. Out of respect for the mourning, afternoon classes were closed early and there will be no activities this Friday (7). The school management also offered solidarity to the child's family and friends. In a statement, Saquarema City Hall lamented the girl's death and said it was investigating the circumstances of the accident. The municipality stated that it is collaborating with the authorities responsible for the investigation and providing support to the victim's family. "In this moment of so much pain, I sympathize with your family, friends, colleagues and the entire school community. May God comfort everyone's hearts", declared Mayor Lucimar Vidal, through the note released by the city hall. MORE
