1-year-old child is hospitalized with signs of sexual abuse in Nova Belém; four people are taken to the police station Photo: Disclosure A child aged 1 year and 8 months was hospitalized after being admitted to a health unit with bleeding in the genital region, in Nova Belém, in Vale do Rio Doce, this Sunday (12). According to the PM, the incident began after the Guardianship Council called the military to locate two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, who were missing along with their own children. The two were located and taken to the barracks to provide clarification. ? Click here to follow the g1 Vales channel on WhatsApp During the service, family members informed the PM that the daughter of one of the teenagers was bleeding in the genital region and was taken to the municipal health center. According to the Military Police, the doctor at the scene reported that the child may have suffered some type of abuse. The girl was then transferred to Mantena Hospital for specialized care and additional tests.

According to the Military Police, during the initial surveys, the teenagers reported that they spent the night at the home of two men, aged 24 and 25. The military went to the property and identified the suspects, who denied any involvement in the case. The two men were arrested and the teenagers were apprehended, all of whom were taken to the Civil Police Station to provide clarification. The Civil Police will investigate the case and determine the circumstances of the facts.
