“I'm very happy to have arrived here and I thank the fans for the patience they had in waiting for me”, he declared.
Vozinha traveled from Madrid and arrived at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, in Santiago, at around 9:03 pm local time. A group of club fans waited for the player at the terminal and welcomed him with chants and shouts of support.
The presentation was postponed twice due to delays in issuing the visa and personal commitments that still needed to be resolved.
At 40 years old, the goalkeeper must undergo medical examinations this Monday before signing a contract valid for six months. The agreement also provides for the possibility of renewal for another season, until the end of 2027.
São Paulo enters into an agreement with Calleri, and renewal is subject to signature
The contract will follow the "2+1" model. There will be an automatic renewal clause until the end of 2029, as long as Calleri plays for at least 45 minutes in 60% of São Paulo's matches during the 2028 season.
