The report found that Iago has an agreement to defend São Paulo on loan until December. The operation with Bahia does not provide for costs for the operation or purchase option at the end of the contract. With this, all that remains is the signing of the contract, scheduled for this weekend. Despite the progress, São Paulo must wait for the transfer ban to be resolved before officially announcing Iago.
The situation is similar to that of Domingos Duarte. The Portuguese defender has already signed a contract with the club, but remains unable to be registered due to the punishment imposed by FIFA.
NO IMMEDIATE SOLUTION
As UOL revealed on Thursday, São Paulo had already 'accepted' that they would spend more this week under the transfer ban.
The board has been having difficulties raising the necessary resources and is still looking for an alternative to pay off the first installment of Marcos Antônio's purchase from Lazio, the origin of the punishment.
The other window reinforcements have already been regularized. Victor Sá, Aurélio Buta and Newton had their names published in the IDB and are able to defend the São Paulo team.
