Palmeiras is trying to sign the player and presented an offer in the region of 20 million euros (around R$120 million). The negotiation would also involve the Alviverde defender Naves.
Danilo and his representatives have already informed Palmeiras that in Brazilian football they only play for Alviverde, as UOL found out. Flamengo would be another interested in the midfielder.
Alviverde, however, has competition from four European clubs. They are: Zenit, Newcastle, Roma and Galatasaray.
