The 49th edition of the Copa América does not yet have its venue defined. The South American qualifier for the next World Cup is also uncertain as Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay are classified as host countries for one game in the tournament each. Spain, Portugal and Morocco will concentrate most of the matches.
Amidst these uncertainties, the objectives of the Brazilian team were announced during a review meeting, with the presence of the vice-presidents of the CBF, the directors of each department and the presidents of the state federations, in a meeting that took place at the entity's headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro.
At the opening of the event, the president of the highest Brazilian football entity, Samir Xaud, reaffirmed his disappointment with Brazil's campaign in the 2026 World Cup, after falling in the round of 16, with a 2-1 defeat to Norway.

"Of course we expected a more positive result," he said, before considering the positive aspects he observed in the work done by the board responsible for the men's team, especially with what he described as "integration between the youth teams".
According to the CBF, 23 of the 26 called up for this year's World Cup played on the national team's youth teams.
For the next World Cup, the entity also expects a calmer cycle with the maintenance of the technical committee led by Carlo Ancelotti. Before this year's World Cup in North America, the Italian coach had 13 months of work leading the team.
Since competing in the edition held in Qatar, the Brazilian team has experienced a period of constant crises, driven by changes in its technical command and in the shadow of the entity's institutional crisis.
Also at this Tuesday's meeting, Xaud stated that the entity's attention will now be focused on preparing the Brazilian women's team before competing in the 2027 World Cup, with Brazil as the host.
"We have turned a page and now we turn our focus to the Women's World Cup, in addition to the cycle to 2030," he stated.
The Women's World Cup will be played from June 24th to July 25th.
